New Braunfels is a great place to live. It's everything that anyone could ever want in a community. I grew up here, and my children have grown up here, so I know what I'm talking about! There are so many amazing things that make New Braunfels such a great place to live. Here are just a few reasons why you should consider living in New Braunfels, Texas.
We Have a Community-Oriented Vibe
Our community is centered around families, which is one of the reasons why we have so many great parks and recreational areas. We also have a strong volunteer network that makes sure that all of our events are well attended and fun. If you like being part of a community and helping your neighbors, then New Braunfels is the right place for you.
We Have Great Schools
The schools in New Braunfels are excellent, which means that your children will be getting the best education possible. You can also expect them to graduate from high school ready for college or the workforce. The schools here are so good that many parents choose to move their children here even if they don’t have any ties to the community yet – just so they can enjoy these amazing facilities!
Our Weather Is Fantastic
One of the things we love most about living in New Braunfels is our weather. We have mild winters with very little snowfall, which makes it easy for people to get out and enjoy themselves even when it’s cold outside! Summers aren’t too hot either – they tend to be enjoyable year-round without being too hot or humid! It's still Texas, so the temperature hits 100F. But it's not as bad as Arizona or New Mexico! And we have loads of places to swim and cool off.
We Have Amazing Parks and Attractions Close By
New Braunfels is known for its beautiful parks and attractions. We have Schlitterbahn Water Park Resort, which is one of the most popular water parks in the world, and we also have Six Flags Fiesta Texas. If you want to enjoy the outdoors, you can go hiking or biking at Comal County Park or Guadalupe River State Park. You can even rent kayaks on the Guadalupe River and take out any time that suits your schedule!
The Views are Great
New Braunfels' location on the Guadalupe River affords residents and visitors a variety of outdoor activities. The river is a central attraction in the community, and there are several parks along its banks that provide picnic facilities and opportunities for swimming. You can also enjoy a canoe trip down the river or take advantage of the area's natural beauty by hiking in one of our many lovely parks or even climbing up the hills!
Our Neighbors are Wonderful
New Braunfels is a fantastic place to live, but the people who live here are what make it so great. We’re friendly and welcoming and always willing to lend a hand, whether it’s at work or in our community. You can count on us to be there when you need us – and we hope you will be there for us too! Whether you’re looking for a new place to call home or just want to get out of the hustle and bustle of city life, New Braunfels has something for everyone.
Our Food is Exceptional
One of the things that make New Braunfels such an amazing place to live is the food. We have everything from German fare to Tex-Mex and everything in between! This city has something for everyone when it comes to dining out. If you want German food, there are many restaurants that serve up traditional German dishes like spaetzle and sauerbraten (pot roast). You can also find bakeries that sell authentic German pastries like kuchen and strudel.
If you prefer Mexican cuisine, then you will enjoy eating at one of our many authentic Mexican restaurants where you can get tacos, enchiladas and burritos made with homemade tortillas or tortilla chips! There are also several steakhouses serving up prime cuts of meat alongside delicious sides like cornbread stuffing and mashed potatoes with gravy.
Whatever type of cuisine you prefer, there are plenty of options.
We’re Fun, But Not Too Crazy
The people of New Braunfels are as friendly and welcoming as you would expect from a small town. We are a very diverse community with residents who come from all over the world and with many different backgrounds. You can find restaurants that will suit any taste or budget here, including some of the best Mexican food in Texas. Our community has a strong sense of civic pride, which is evident in the wide range of events that happen here throughout the year. Our city has been chosen as one of "America's Best Cities" by Money magazine for several years running and there is no doubt that it is a great place to live!
In the end, I think that New Braunfels is a great place to live. There are tons of great restaurants, attractions, and other cool things to do with your time. And while it's true that there are some drawbacks (mainly traffic), New Braunfels is still one of the best places to live in Texas (if not the country). But if living in a small town isn't for you, but you still want to be surrounded by beautiful landscapes and friendly people, then maybe you should consider living in San Marcos, San Antonio, or Austin instead!
